Syneron Candela in $400m Sale
Makers of elōs Plus with Motif laser hair removal system
It has been announced this week that Syneron Candela, the manufacturer of laser hair removal equipment, aesthetic and medical laser treatment systems; is set to be sold to private equity company Apax Partners, in a deal valued at close to $400 million.
The deal has not been completed and is subject to approval by Syneron Candela shareholders. However Syneron Candela’s board of directors has given its unanimous approval to the sale.
Chairman and co-founder Shimon Eckhouse said:
