Latest Online Reviews for NoNo

reviewsThe no!no! or (NoNo) is a relatively new concept in home hair removal.

The system doesn’t use any form of hair extraction (like waxing or epilation) and does not use laser technology either. It is based on a thermal system that is designed to conduct heat down the hair shaft aind into the follicle to heat up the hair to reduce its strength over time to the point where it can’t sustain itself anymore and falls out.

As a handheld device it appeals for convenience and priced around £200 could be an attractive solution to hair reduction.

However, it is fair to say that reviewers have not been overwhelmed by the results of the system, so if you were thinking of investing in one to touch up professional laser hair removal or to try and save on hair removal treatments, it is worth reading up online.

Latest no!no! Reviews

We compare UK reviews on the NoNo system from Amazon, Boots and Argos.

Amazon sell the pink no!no! model 8800.

  • 90 reviews
  • Average rating 2 out of 5 stars
  • Amazon say: This is a treatment process to reduce the rate of hair regrowth and not a miracle cure. Like any professional hair removal treatment, it takes time and dedication to achieve optimal results.

The latest reviewer writes:

“★ Change of mind: This item looks good but sounds like its rubbish I was gna get this for our lass for her birthday because she struggles to get a razor that actualy works but I think ill get her the curl secret hair curlers instead lol.”

Boots also sells the pink no!no! model 8800, their most reviewed no!no! product

  • 20 reviews
  • average rating 3 out of 5 stars
  • Boots say: “This portable system uses Thermicon technology to to instantly remove unwanted hair without pulling, tearing or plucking the hairs.”

The latest reviewer writes:

“★★★★ No No: This really works well on the fine hairs on my face which is what I bought it for. As the product states, you have to persevere and use it often to begin with. Really like this”

However, the previous review is less complimentary:

“★ No No doesn’t work: I am a GP and I was very interested to see whether the NoNo device might be good to recommnend to patients with hirsuitism. Having bought one and tried it for 2 weeks, I now know that it doesn’t actually burn the hairs down to the roots as it professes to do – useless on legs and arms. However, it does seem to burn the very fine hairs on the face (not the moustache area or chin as here the hairs are too strong.) I would never recommend it now. It’s such a pity as people with red or fair hair cannot use IPL treatment, so the only thing that helps them is an epilator.”

Argos sells the pink no!no! model 8800, but their most reviewed no!no! product is the no!no! Body and Face Plus Hair Removal System

  • 20 reviews
  • average rating 2.8 out of 5 stars
  • Argos say: “This is a treatment process to reduce the rate of hair regrowth and not a miracle cure. Like any professional hair removal treatment, it takes time and dedication to achieve optimal results.”

The latest reviewer writes:

“★ Rubbish don’t buy it: This no no is rubbish it doesn’t get rid of yr hairs like it said took me 45 minutes to do one leg then it left stubble so still had to use a razor if I could have my money back I would”
